This is the official, unofficial website of the Sunshine Coast Rayners - Supers & Masters teams. The club is based at the Fisherman's Rd complex in Maroochydore. The competition extends as far abroad as Coolangatta, Hervey Bay and Toowoomba; playing every second Sunday.
Masters AFL is for competitors over 38yrs; Supers for over 33's. The emphasis is on having a great time; win, lose or draw. Phone Jeff Smith (President) on 0419 545 003.

    Skills Coach Collins took a depleted squad through their paces last night and the wet track saw the return of the Dugong (who was up to his usual tricks). The raffle call was back on track and Micky T took home the cash. Next week’s game is on the Goldie so stay tuned for more info as it becomes available. Nipper is taking numbers for a bus, so please let him know ASAP if you want to bus it!

    A win and a loss for the Rayners on game day saw the playing of two totally diffenet types of footy games. The Supers was played in what could only be called a bog on the main oval while the Masters were lucky enough to play a game of almost dry-weather football on the third oval.

    It was a Richie-less training night as a number of the Collingwood boys failed to appear on the track after the close finish to the ANZAC Day game. The boys filled in amicably for him on the track and in the bar afterwards. Tony Vagg has the tickets for the Reverse Raffle on Sunday 3rd June!     A modest turnout after the coaches received many complaints of General Soreness and hangovers after a tense weekend of footy. Blairy provided us with a lovely pasta dish for Master Chef and Coach Gaddo took us through some challenging drills!

    A big roll-up at training with our first home game of the season this weekend against Wilston Grange. Supers start Sunday at 10am and Masters at 12pm (if playing ensure you get down with plenty of time before the game starts). The BBQ Bar will be running in between Milesy's brief stints on the field.     About twenty-five made it to training with many weekend players complaining of general soreness. We have a "Kennedy" at both ends of the Footy Tipping table (Dunka5 is Lil' Pete's Bro) - that should keep things interesting! The season draw has been released (click on the image at left). Game times are still being negotiated, so please keep look on the website closer to the event.

    Another wet night at training but a good roll-up none the less. A caterring fau'par by Wimple (he ran out of Dimmies and VB) has led to the announcement of the 2012 Master Chef. No draw yet, but first game is on Sunday 1st April (Morningside - AWAY GAME) and Footy Tipping is free to join - first game is this saturday. So get your tips in!!!     After a long anticipated wait, the AFL clash between the Brisbane Lions and Carlton materialised and the Sunshine Coast turned on the sunshine in welcome. The Rayners were out in force, lapping up the experience as The Lions pulled away in the second half to beat a demoralised Carlton.
